The water only slightly warms up in the summers, offering swimmers a refreshing 60 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit.

This State Park sits at the southernmost tip of the Key Biscane and is surrounded by clear waters and a light amount of surf. A large offshore sand bar protects swimmers from violent tides, making it ideal for families with small children as well as sea turtles which guests may be privy to catching a glimpse of. There is an amazing view of this picturesque beach and the surrounding waters from the cape Florida Lighthouse.
